How to Backup Android Data To Your Computer

Connect your Android Device (Phone or Tablet) to the PC

Download and install Android Data Backup & Restore tool on your PC, Click on Backup & Restore option as shown below:

Now connect your Android device to your PC with the help of a USB cable. Please ensure that USB debugging is enabled on your phone or tablet. With Android version 4.2.2 or above, you will receive a pop up on your Android phone to allow USB Debugging, Select OK.

Click on Backup to start the backup of your Android phone data.

In case you have used this tool to back up your Android device in the past, you can see the past backup by clicking on “View backup history”.

Select The File Types to Back Up

Once the Android device is connected, choose the file types you want to backup. By default, all the file types are selected. Click on Backup to start the backup process.

It will take some time to complete the process, make sure you do not disconnect your Android phone and do not use the phone, delete anything on the phone while its backing up the data.

One the backup is complete, click on View the backup option to see check all the backed up files.

How to Restore Backed Up Data To Your Phone

Connect your Android device to your PC

Launch Android Data Backup & Restore tool on your PC. Choose Backup & Restore option. Connect your Android device to your PC with the help of a USB cable.

Select the Backed Up file To Restore

Click on Restore, the Android Data Backup & Restore tool will show all the Android backup files on your PC. Choose the backup file and click on View next to it.

Preview and Restore the Backed Up file to Your Android Device

Now you can preview each file, sekect the files you want and click on Restore to get all those files to your Android device.

The complete process may take some time. Do not disconnect your Android device or launch any Android device program. It is best not to use the phone during this process.
